Bolton resident and mother of three, author Mary Morsilli views her Emma book as a labour of love. The character of Emma was created while helping her youngest daughter recuperate from a serious illness. With a homework assignment due and no ideas, her daughter turned to her mother for inspiration. Mary in turn, discovered her artistic side and a talent for rhyming. And once she started there was no turning back. In a short time, Emma was on her way to four different adventures.
Encouraged by family and friends she took her work to a local book publisher, Giant Beaver Publications. Mary insists that although the waiting was nerve-wracking, there are no words to describe how she felt when told, "Congratulations, you are going to be a published author!"
